The Golden Fork was born from a simple belief: that exceptional food has the power to bring people together and create lasting memories. Founded in 1998 by Chef Marco Bellini, our restaurant began as a small family kitchen serving authentic recipes passed down through generations.

Over the years, we've grown from a cosy neighbourhood bistro to one of the city's most beloved dining destinations. Yet our commitment to quality, authenticity, and warm hospitality has never wavered. Every dish that leaves our kitchen is crafted with the same love and attention that inspired us from day one.

The Beginning

Chef Marco Bellini opens The Golden Fork with just 20 seats and a dream of bringing authentic Italian-inspired cuisine to the neighbourhood.

2005

First Expansion

After years of growing popularity, we expand to 60 seats and introduce our signature tasting menu that becomes an instant classic.

2012

Award Recognition

The Golden Fork receives its first major industry award, recognising our commitment to culinary excellence and outstanding service.

2020

Renovation

A complete renovation brings a fresh, modern aesthetic while preserving the warm, intimate atmosphere our guests love.
